Wine glasses and set tables in the Osteria da Nando dining room
Via Sant'Anselmo, 99 — Aosta

Home-style cooking, since 1957, in the heart of Aosta

For three generations, the Scarpa family has kept alive a single, intimate dining room on the pedestrian street of the historic centre: fresh ingredients, prepared to order, in a menu that evolves with the seasons.

Our story

Three generations,
a family that keeps growing.

"A single, very intimate space" — designed from the very beginning to welcome guests with discretion and attentive service.

Since 1957, Osteria da Nando has carried on, on the pedestrian street of Sant'Anselmo, a cuisine built on fresh ingredients prepared to order. Whenever possible we choose raw materials from the Aosta Valley, on a path of continuous evolution that respects tradition without standing still. You won't find an anonymous restaurant here: just one room, a few tables, and the care of someone who cooks to make every guest feel at home.

And like every family, we grow over time: today Mélanie and Régis work alongside Franca, Corrado, Leonardo, Olior and Paolo, carrying on our usual hospitality and quality. From this meeting comes a menu that blends Aosta Valley tradition with elegant French culinary influences.

Where we welcome you

The kitchen at Osteria da Nando seen from the corridor, behind the glass
The open kitchen

The kitchen sits behind a glass wall, a few steps from the tables: walk down the corridor and you can watch the team at work, sending out each dish as soon as it is ready.

The cellar

Behind the dining room, in the small stone cellar, rest more than a hundred labels, with a special focus on the heroic vineyards of the Aosta Valley. At the table we help you choose the right glass for every dish.
